Violet Lasers
 The arrival
of high power solid state laser diodes opened the door to affordable
violet CtP. However the characteristics of the lasing
material
and the requirements of the application demand specialised optical and
electrical techniques to obtain peak performance at a reasonable cost.
We have developed and refined these techniques so we can
design, manufacture, and test these critical systems extremely
competitively.
Data Handling
 A modern CtP
system has to handle vast amounts of image data with fast throughput
and
accuracy. Image quality on the plate is compromised if
rigorous timing constraints are not maintained throughout the data
handling system to the final writing beam. Our software and
electronics use a combination of standard interfaces and custom silicon
to produce an open system incorporating these quality features.
Mechanical Precision
 A
careful choice of materials, manufacturing techniques, and appropriate
precision are needed to achieve the highly tuned mechanical system that
can deliver an accurately registered and quality imaged plate.
Sophisticated modeling methods and painstaking analysis techniques are
employed to meet the performance goals of CtP.
